General Info
The Catholic Schools Week VEX IQ Tournament is a qualifing event for the 2018-2019 VIQC game Next Level. This event helps kick off the beginning of Catholic Schools Week. The tournament will start with a prayer and the venue will close to go to mass during the tournament.
***This is an invitational event that is open to all Catholic school VEX IQ teams in a California diocese. Students do not need to be Catholic but they must be on a team from a Catholic school.***
In order to register your Catholic school VEX IQ team, please add your team to the waitlist and you will be contacted by the event partner with further instructions.
It is expected that at least one full day volunteer will be provided per team. Teams will be contacted with the volunteer signup form prior to the event.
STEM Presentation submission deadline is 1/20/19. Teams will be contacted with the submission form prior to the event.

9:15am Inspection closes, Opening/Event Meeting *Teams not registered with their robots inspected by 9:15 will be disqualified*
9:30am Qualification matches begin

11:45 Venue opens back up for lunch
12:00pm Qualification matches resume
3:45pm Qualification matches finish and skills events close
4:00pm Elimination matches begin

Volunteer
Volunteers will be needed for event setup and teardown, robot inspection, reset, judging, and other positions. It is expected that at least one full day volunteer will be provided per team. In the case of bad weather conditions or possible cancellations, please visit the event on events.vex.com where updates about the event status will be posted as needed. Please make sure your team's contact information is up to date in your events.vex.com account in the event we need to contact your team.
Refund and Payment Policies
Event payments are expected when you register for this event and must be completed (showing PAID in the system) a minimum of 1 week prior to the event date. Unpaid teams will be removed from the event, allowing space for teams on the wait list. No refunds will be made once a team is marked PAID in the sysytem.
