General Info
The Southern Maryland Showdown Scrimmage is open to elementary and middle school level VEX IQ teams. Teams will compete in a combined middle school/elementary scrimmage. We will have a competition field and a practice field. Skills will not be offered. Teams that have not checked in 45 minutes prior to the beginning of the qualifying matches will be dropped from the roster so that the match list may be run. Teams that are running late must contact the event partner prior to this cut off if they do not wish to be dropped.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In case of inclement weather and/or school closing, the event will be cancelled and teams will be issues a refund of $20 (less the REC Foundation $5 administrative fee). The event partner will notify teams in case of cancellation.
