General Info

Middle School - Nebraska VEX IQ State Championship

The Nebraska VEX IQ State Championship will be held on Saturday, February 8th.  Middle School students from Nebraska will design robots for the Squared Away Game, details can be found here:  https://www.vexrobotics.com/vexiq/competition/viqc-current-game

Skills Challenges will be available to all teams, with 3 Max Driver attempts and 3 Max Programming attempts per team.

The top twelve (12) teams from the qualification rounds will participate in Finals.  These twelve (12) teams will be automatically paired into 6 Alliances.  The top scoring alliance in Finals will earn the Tournament Champion Award.

What to Expect at the State Championship

This year, the State Championship will only include teams from Nebraska.  It will be held at the Marrs Magnet Middle School.  To ensure a smooth event, there will be two Teamwork competition fields and a Skills Challenge field for each division.  All fields will be raised to the same height as the World Championship fields, which is 18 inches.
