General Info

Green Magnet Academy is very excited to host this tournament. In an effort to make this the most amazing event, please pay careful attention to the following:

Parking is very limited. Consider carpooling as much as possible. We have arranged for additional parking at the Knoxville Law Enforcement Credit Union 501 E Summit Hill Dr SE, Knoxville, TN 37915. On campus parking is first come first serve.

We have a food truck coming for coffee and breakfast and 2 lunch trucks for lunch. Other lunch options are limited and off campus. Please consider eating between 11 am to 12:00 and 1:00 to 2:00 so that the teams can eat at noon. This will keep the tournament on schedule.

A concession stand will open at 9:00 am and run until 2:30 pm with drinks, chips, baked goods, and other goodies. We also have a filtered water fountain if you would like to bring a water bottle.

The T-Shirt Doctor, a pop-up tee shirt truck will be on site thorugh out the day to sell tournament t-shirts. There are 2 design choices with the name of all tournament teams on the back.

Participants will be required to submit the VEX liability release form through events.vex.com or in person at the event.

Volunteer

Volunteers are essential to a successful tournament. Please consider volunteering. No prior experience is necessary. All teams are expected to provide at least 1 adult volunteer. Please email Leah Moir ([email protected]) to sign up. Volunteers will receive any training necessary and a full day of inspiration working with incredibly talented youth.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of bad weather, updates will be made by email.

Refund and Payment Policies

Refunds will only be made if the event is cancelled by Green Magnet Academy. Refunds will not include the $5 processing fee assessed by Robot Events for processing. Registrations will not be refunded for teams that register but choose not to come.
