Es una competencia en recinto techado, los equipos serán notificados, por correo electrónico, si ocurre algún evento que ponga en peligro el evento. Los equipos deben asegurarse de que su información de contacto en events.vex.com esté actualizada.

It is a competition in a covered venue, the teams will be notified by email if an event occurs that endangers the event. Teams must ensure that their contact information on events.vex.com is up to date.

El aeropuerto esta a 56KM hacia el norte del evento. Un taxy usualmente cobra 50 USD por un viaje. Tambien hay transportacion publica con una tarifa mas barata.

CUN International Airport is 35 miles north of the venue. Shuttle vans usually charge about $50 USD for a one way trip from Airport. Public transportation available at a cheaper rate.

STEM Research

1. Please refer to the **STEM Research Project and Presentation** document from the REC Foundation. The document can be found in the VEX IQ Challenge Team Resources area at https://www.roboticseducation.org
2. Record the STEM Presentation as a video following the instructions in the STEM Research Project and Presentation document.
3. Upload the video to one of the online video resources following the instructions in the STEM Research Project and Presentation document.
4. Have the coach or another adult email the link to the video, including the team number and contact information for the coach, to the Event Partner no later than ONE WEEK BEFORE the tournament date:

5. Teams WILL NOT be interviewed by judges at the event, unless the event qualifies teams directly to VEX Worlds. Please refer to the STEM Research Project and Presentation document for details.
6. Only ONE submission allowed per team. If two or more video links are sent to the Event Partner, only the first link received will be considered.
7. The winner of the STEM Research Project Award will be announced with the other judged awards at the event.

VEX Worlds Qualification

El siguiente premio calificara para el Campeonato Mundial de VEX 2020:

(1) Excellence Award Winner

Si 40 o mas equipos son registrados al torneo, el total de pases sera incrementado a tres:

(1) Excellence Award Winner

(2) Teamwork Champions

* Si un equipo califica doble, el campeon de Robot Skills o el siguiente equipo de skills con puntaje mas alto y que no este calificado obtendra la invitacion al mundial.

If 40 or more teams are registered, the number of spots will be increased to three:

(1) Excellence Award Winner

(2) Teamwork Champions 

* If a team double qualifies, the Robot Skills Champion or next highest unqualified skills team will receive the Worlds invitation.
