This event is indoors.  In the event that something arises that prevents us from hosting the tournament, we will contact the phone numbers and emails provided by your team as soon as the decision is made.  Efforts will be taken to contact those furthest away from the venue first. Please make sure your team contact information is up to date in your events.vex.com account and includes email and cell phone numbers.

Refund and Payment Policies

Los equipos que se retiren del registro 30 días antes del evento recibirán un reembolso. Los equipos que se retiren en los 30 días anteriores al evento no recibirán un reembolso.

Teams that withdraw from registration 30 days in advance of the event will be given a refund.  Teams that withdraw in the 30 days prior to the event will not be given a refund.

STEM Research

1. Please refer to the **STEM Research Project and Presentation** document from the REC Foundation. The document can be found in the VEX IQ Challenge Team Resources area at https://www.roboticseducation.org
2. Record the STEM Presentation as a video following the instructions in the STEM Research Project and Presentation document.
3. Upload the video to one of the online video resources following the instructions in the STEM Research Project and Presentation document.
4. Have the coach or another adult email the link to the video, including the team number and contact information for the coach, to the Event Partner no later than ONE WEEK BEFORE the tournament date:

5. Teams WILL NOT be interviewed by judges at the event, unless the event qualifies teams directly to VEX Worlds. Please refer to the STEM Research Project and Presentation document for details.
6. Only ONE submission allowed per team. If two or more video links are sent to the Event Partner, only the first link received will be considered.
7. The winner of the STEM Research Project Award will be announced with the other judged awards at the event.

VEX Worlds Qualification

El siguiente premio calificara para el Campeonato Mundial de VEX 2020:

(1) Excellence Award Winner

Si 40 o mas equipos son registrados al torneo, el total de pases sera incrementado a tres:

(1) Excellence Award Winner

(2) Teamwork Champions

* Si un equipo califica doble, el campeon de Robot Skills o el siguiente equipo de skills con puntaje mas alto y que no este calificado obtendra la invitacion al mundial.

If 40 or more teams are registered, the number of spots will be increased to three:

* If a team double qualifies, the Robot Skills Champion or next highest unqualified skills team will receive the Worlds invitation.
