General Info
General Info
NOTE: updated league session moved from 11/23 to 12/14
This league is for student-focused middle and elementary school teams. The expectation is that students do the building and programming with minimal and appropriate help from mentors/coaches. The experience should be fun but also just as important is that the accomplishments and successes belong to the students. Mentors and coaches are here to teach skills and lessons and guide the teams but it's up the students to learn and apply the rules as well as to learn to advocate for themselves during competitions. This league will be meeting in the school's Student Center.
The first three sessions will be for Teamwork Challenge Qualification Matches with teams passiing robotic inspections after checking in.
The fourth and final session will begin the same way as the previous sessions, followed by Robot Skills matches and judging, and finishing with Teamwork Finals matches and Awards.. Robots need to pass inspection by 9:00 AM to be included in the Teamwork match schedule.
