General Info

Immediately after registering please email the event planner Angel Mecham to request an available time slot. If you wish to compete remotely please include that in the email as well. TIme slots will be offered

Mandatory: All participants (In-person and Remote) must have a Participant Release Form on file. It is the responsibility of the coach to make sure this occurs. A link to the instructions on how to submit a Participant Release Form is found here: https://events.vex.com/consent/

Those teams who are NOT LOCAL and wish to participate as a Remote Skills MUST HAVE:

Tool for sizing (VEX measuring tool, measuring tape, etc.)

2 Webcam(s) with Zoom Meeting capability. One webcam MUST view the whole field the entire time, as well as a second that can move around the field via the Head Ref's instructions. Webcams need to log into the event at least 5 minutes before your time slot.

Live AND Remote Skills Event:

We are hosting a Live AND Remote skills challenge. Each team will be assigned a 30-minute time slot. Inspections will be held Live for Local teams and remotely for other teams. If you are competeing REMOTELY it's important that you have a camera and a measuring device allowing the inspectors to certify your robot. Please test your meeting Link that will be provided to you ensuring you have no issues logging in prior to your assigned time slot. If you are to have any issues please contact us ASAP.
