General Info

Please read and carefully follow the health and safety policies. Repeated violations will result in disqualification of all teams from the event.

  • This is a face to face teamwork challange and skills tournament.
  • Due to Covid restrictions, each team will be able to bring maximum 2 members with 1 coach.
  • Spectators will not be allowed in the venue. 
  • All matches will be live streamed. 
  • Codes for streaming will be sent out before the event.  
  • Please make sure to upload consent forms for members attending into Robot Events.  Due to Covid restrictions, no forms will be taken at the event.

Agenda

Please read and follow the health and safety policy. Repeated violations will result in all teams from the organization being disqualified.

  • Doors open at 7:30 am
  • Team Check in and Inspection: 7:30 am - 8:00 am
  • Team Meeting: 8:15 am
  • Qualification Matches: 8:30 am - 1:45 pm with a break for lunch approximately from  12:00 pm - 12:30 pm.  
  • Finals Matches: 2:00 pm  - 2:30 pm
  • Awards 2:45 pm - 3:00 pm

Schedule is subject to slight changes if we are running ahead of schedule.

Judges meetings will take place virtually at the event.  All notebooks will be turned in digitally.

If the event has to be cancelled, it will not be rescheduled.

No refunds will be given.

Health and Safety Policies

  • Due to Covid restrictions, each team is limited to 2 members and a coach. 
  • Cloth face masks are required of all participants at all times inside the facility.
  • Only one driver will be permitted to drive at any time. Coaches and team members must remain in the team pit (classroom) area.
  • Participants, volunteers, and coaches only.  No spectators. All matches will be live streamed through Google Meet.
  • Participants will be required to do a temperature check at the entrance to the venue.
  • We will have dedicated field resetters for each field to ensure the safety of the participants.
  • No practice fields will be available.
  • Teams will be required to stay at their assigned pit location unless called to the queuing station.
  • Inspections will be performed in the pit classroom. Inspectors will circulate throughout the pits during the inspection time
  • Electronic submission of notebooks and all paperwork (links will be sent to coaches) 
  • Hand sanitizer is available at all entrances and competition fields.  Participants are expected to clean their hands every time they move between areas (pit to field, field to pit, etc.)
  • No sharing of personal items or robot parts between teams (Teams from the same school may share batteries and are expected to use appropriate sanitary cautions when doing so)
  • Teams need to bring a sack lunch with them in the morning.  No food delivery is allowed.  Parents or coaches may not bring food into the venue
  • No concessions will be sold.
