General Info

This is a REMOTE Pre-Recorded Skills only event with NO Judging.

This is an invitational event meant to serve schools in Northern Michigan. Priority will be given to teams that have not had an opportunity to compete yet this season. The number of teams will be limited to 20. If your school or organization needs a "competition" to qualify for FIRST/99h grant funding through the State of Michigan MDE this event will count.

No trophies will be given out for this event. This event does not qualify for the VEX IQ Challenge World Championship.

Please refer to the VEX IQ Challenge Game Manual for all the rules and directions on what must be included in your video submission. Pay close attention to pages 30-31. Remember that an adult must be in the room at all times.

You will be sent a unique code for your team to use as per the directions. Please do not share the code with another team.

Any violations of the rules in the game manual will disqualify all of your submissions and NO refunds will be given.

All scores will be posted to the Global Skills rankings and be filtered to Michigan.

Video submissions must be recorded between 5/10 and 5/14. The video must be received by 5/14 by 11:59 pm. The EP is not responsible for any delay in submission due to network firewalls or any other technical issues.

Videos must be posted to a YouTube channel and set to child-friendly and unlisted. A working link must be sent to the EP at [email protected].
