General Info

 This is our third annual Thief River Falls VEX IQ tournament. Tournament will be held in the Franklin Middle School Gym on 2/12/2022.

We are planning this event as an in-person event, however like all events we will be following Covid 19 guidlines as required by the school district. As we get closer to the event I will send out updated information and advise of any protocols that will need to be followed.

Agenda

7:00 AM – Doors open for volunteers 

7:15 AM – Referee Meeting – Competition Fields 

7:30AM - Check-In Inspection - Practice Fields Open 

7:45 AM – Judges Meeting – Judges Room 

8:00 AM – Skills Field opens for inspected Teams 

9:00 AM Check-In/Inspections Close (earlier if all teams are inspected.) 

9:00AM Team Meetings / Opening Ceremony 

9:15 AM Qualification Rounds Begin 

10:00 AM – Concessions Stand will open 

12:00 PM- 30 Minute Lunch Break (if matches are running on time) 

2:30 PM Qualification Rounds End 

2:45 PM Finals Rounds Begin 

3:00 PM Closings and Awards Ceremony

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event that we do need to cancel this event the event partners will do our best to advise this informaiton as far in advanced as possible. Since we are not able to reschedule the event we will do everything in our power to hold the event as scheduled. Please use your best judgement in safely getting your team to the tournament.

Refund and Payment Policies

Refunds are generally not avaialble if the tournament is held. We will review requests on a case by case basis if needed.
