General Info

Grandville Robotics Pitching In VEX IQ league event will be held in the Cafeteria and Gym of at Century Park Leaning Center.  Please park on the west side of the school.  

November 29, 2021, the 4th week will be our League Chamionship.  Teams will have an opportunity to compete in the Skills Challenge and judging.

At this time, no food can be brought into elementary events in Grandville.  Please have team memebers eat dinner before coming league night.  

All elementary students, coaches and spectators must wear a mask in the school building.

There are limited chairs at our event.  Spectators might want to bring a bag chair to use in the commons area.

We will treat any non-compliance with the following rules as <G1> violations and will result in disqualification from that night’s event.  These teams and adults will be asked to leave the building.  Rule violations which will result in disqualification include:

  • All adults and students must properly wear masks at all time while in the building
  • No food or drinks may be brought into the building
  • No students or adults may be outside the tournament area

Timeline

5:30 pm Doors open for teams to set up at their pit table.  Teams enter through doors on the west side of the building.

5:30 - 5:50 pm robot inspection

 6:15 start rounds (or sooner if robots are inspected and ready to go)

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If Grandville Public Schools has cancelled all evening activites, league will be cancelled.   League cancellation will be determined by 3pm.  The EP will email all participants listed on RobotEvents.  

League make-up day will be Monday, Decemebr 6.
