General Info

Gibbs Middle School is proud to host its second VEX IQ tournament. The event is open to middle and elementary school teams.

Teams must be checked in 30 minutes prior to the start of the qualification matches so that the match schedule may be printed. Teams must contact the event partner if they are running late or they will be removed from the team list for the event.

Registered teams will receive an e-mail prior to the event with event details including parking and lunch information.

Volunteer

Volunteers are essential to a successful tournament. Please consider volunteering. No prior experience is necessary. Please email [email protected] to sign up. Volunteers will receive any training necessary and a full day of inspiration working with incredibly talented youth.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of bad weather, updates will be made by email.

Refund and Payment Policies

Teams that withdraw from registration 15 days in advance of the event will be given a refund. Teams that withdraw in the 15 days prior to the event will not be given a refund. Schools with outstanding invoices will be waitlisted for all events until payment is received.

Health and Safety Policies

All measures will be taken to operate under the local health mandates as well as those of Knox County Schools. If masks are required in our county, or by the individual schools of participating teams, all participants will be required to wear masks and maintain social distancing. If the mandates are not in place we will approach masks as optional, but continue to maintain social distancing as much as possible.
