General Info

This is an Official Indiana VEX IQ State Qualifying Event. 

Any team not paid by December 31st will be removed and that space will be offered to a team on the wait list.

Concessions will be available for breakfast and lunch.

Participation and Consent: A completed form for all participants must be turned in during check-in. Team leaders will need to collect the completed forms for all team members attending the event and turn them in to the registration desk when checking in.

The day of registration deadline is 8:45 am, teams not registered by that time will be removed from the event and will not be included in the match list.

All payments for entry fees MUST be in advance. Payments not accepted at the door.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

 In case of bad weather conditions or possible cancellations please visit the event on events.vex.com where I will post updates about the event status as needed in the General description. Please feel free to contact me by phone 812-686-0425 if you are going to be late to the event. Match Lists will be generated as scheduled (on agenda) and cannot be re-run.

Refund and Payment Policies

All requests for refunds must be made 3 weeks prior to the date of the event. Refunds if approved will be processed within 1 month following the event. 

Health and Safety Policies

The safety and welfare of the participants at our event is a top priority.  All participants and guests will be required to wear face masks while inside the building.  All teams should bring hand sanitizer and keep on hand in their pit area.  Distancing will be required as practical.  

Judging Format

 

  •  In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
  •  Electronic Engineering Notebook Submissions: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the Event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted electronically for evaluation, with a submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
