Modesto Robotics and Technology invite your teams to participate in the Northern California VIQC Pitching In Tournament to be held in East Palo Alto CA.
Tentative Schedule fo Events for Tournament on Saturday, December 18, 2021

Due to COVID we must limit spectators to one adult in the building per team. Adults will not be permitted around the fields where children are playing, doing Skills Challenge or Competition. ALL persons coming onto campus must have a completed waiver form to turn in (not online), none will be handed out at the event and you will be asked to leave the school property if you do not have one. ALL attendees must have a mask on covering their nose and mouth at all times. NO food or drinks can be consumed in the facility, there are picnic tables outside the back door and you are welcome to eat outside. We aren't asking for proof of vaccine but are required to ask if you have been vaccinated at the time of registration if your child has had one two or booster shots. you will be given a wrist band that will be required to be worn throughout the day to show you have check-in
The attached schedule is tentative and we will do our best to honor those who arrive on time. Skills Challenge matches will be run right after a team passes inspections this is to keep the day moving and to prevent longer times in the building. If your team does not arrive and check-in prior to 10:00 you will not be permitted to run in Skills Matches. We have two events going on and you will not be permitted to roam around the campus or into the other buildings. Please be respectful to the volunteers who might approach you or your child and redirect you to the appropriate areas.

Please note: All events will receive state championship award bids based on the REC Foundation Qualifying Criteria. As such, this event must meet all requirements for a Qualifying Event to receive bids to the state championship released in July 2021.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Bad weather should not affect this event. In case of a cancellation, the event partner will contact you as early as possible. Teams should make sure their contact information in events.vex.com is up to date and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.
Refund and Payment Policies
Teams who have registered but have not paid or submitted a PO 4-weeks prior to the event will be removed from the event unless a special arrangement has been made with the Event Partner.
The registration contains a $5 RobotEvents processing fee that is not refundable. Refunds must be requested at least two weeks prior to event.
If the event is canceled, a full event registration (minus $5) refund will be given to all paid teams. Teams are responsible for their own transportation and hotel costs.
