This is a Georgia Region Qualifying “Pitching In' event for the 2021-22 year. It will be held at North Forsyth High School Café (3635 Coal Mountain Drive, Cumming, GA).

All attendees are expected to abide by the health and safety protocols listed on the appropriate tab (left) as well as the  code of conduct. All must complete the participant release form  and submit ONLINE by the team coach for this and future events! (NOTE: You need team number ex:4330X in order to complete form, and the program is VRC)

The teams coach who is officially listed in RobotEvents as the primary contact receives all team emails, so read the email titles and content carefully, and ensure your IT does not block emails from events.vex.com and roboticseducation.org  or from [email protected]

 Things you will need for competition:

• Goggles/Safety Glasses
• Spare parts & tools
• Robot/controller/batteries/chargers/programming cable
• Power strip (cords may not be visible for teams to trip over)
• Engineering Notebook – turned in by 9 AM for judged awards

Things to know:

• Game rules
• Check VEX forums for rule update and changes
• Award definitions and what you need for award success
• Practice for interviews (be able to explain you robot design)
• Make sure you have the latest version of firmware

Event happenings:

• Part in front of the school and come in the door by the flagpole
• Go to inspection/hand in engineering notebook and then straight to skills
• The second skills are finished (3 driver & 3 programming/team) we will have drivers meeting
• 5-7 matches for each team
• 10 teams will be in the finals consisting of 5 finial matches
