3:30Doors Open

3:30-4:00 Check in (When you come in the main lobby, there will be a table to check in) 

3:45-4:15 Inspection (To the right of the stage if you are looking at it)

4:30 - 7:00  Qualification rounds 

 Skills fields will be open for the entire event closing when qualification rounds end.

2:00PM  Doors Open

2:00PM-2:30PM Check in (When you come in the main lobby, there will be a table to check in) (Please turn in notebooks when checking in)

2:15 - 2:45PM Inspection (Tables will be labelled in the gym for Inspection)

3:00-6:15PM   Qualification rounds and Finals (Juding will happen during Qualification rounds, please have someone at your Pit Table throughout the event)

6:30 - 6:45  Awards

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

We will follow Jefferson County district policy. If school is in session the event will take place.

Refund and Payment Policies

No refunds will be permitted. 

Our county policy does not allow refunds through third party such as REC. 

Health and Safety Policies

This event will follow the latest COVID Policies in accordance with CDC and State of Alabama Guidelines.

As of now, all individuals are required to wear face coverings while inside Jefferson County School buildings.

To ensure the community remains healthy, everyone is encouraged to follow these guidelines:

• Get vaccinated for COVID-19
• Self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19. Stay in your room if you have symptoms or feel ill.
• Wear a face covering when around others if you have not been fully vaccinated. At this time FACE COVERINGS ARE MANDATORY INSIDE THE BUILDING
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
• Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, 70% alcohol-based hand sanitizer should be used. Hand sanitizer stations can be found throughout all campus facilities.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow. Throw used tissues in the trash.
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily.

•  No Judging for Events #1-3
•  In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
