Health and Safety Policies
We will be operating this event according to current COVID policies established by our district school board. As of February 14 our event is limited to no more than 499 people allowed in the Robotics Arena at any one time. To stay under that limit, numbered wrist bands will be issued to all people entering the building. After the count of the necessary participants ( team members, coaches, judges and support people to run the event) is determined the number of spectator wristbands available will be determined and that number will be divided by the number of total teams and that amount per each team will be determined. it will be up to the team coach/mentor to distribute those wristbands.
All people in the arena must wear masks at all times. Food is not allowed to be consumed in the building. A limited number of tables and canopies will be set up outside of the building to be used during the day and at lunch time. Teams are welcome to bring their own tables and seating and canopies and can set them up outside.
There will be no food concessions sold. There are a half dozen fast food eateries where food can be purchased for lunch. We hope to have event souvenirs available for purchase.
