General Info
Pine Belt Robotics Academy and Enrichment Center is proud to host this tournament on January 22, 2022 in our Facility which is located inside Anatomies Fitness Center. We are located in Suite C - upstairs. Teams are encouraged to use the stairs if at all possible; however, an elevator is available for those needing assistance. This competition is open to all registered VIQC teams.
Your payments must be shown in the system as paid by Jan. 14, 2022 in order to participate in the competition. Please add your team to the waiting list if the competition has filled. If any spots become available I will contact you.
This will be a small event and social distancing practices will be exercised to include limiting spectators to 2 per team. Also, unless otherwise noted MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS, SPECTATORS, AND VOLUNTEERS.
We plan to offer a preorder lunch for the teams, probably pizza. Light concessions will be availble. More details will be sent closer to the event. Please contact me if you have any questions.

There will be no refunds. In the event ot inclement weather, the start time for the event may be adjusted or the event will be rescheduled, if necessary.

Health and Safety Policies
We will follow all state and local health mandates.
All participants and specators as well as officials and volunteers are expected to wear masks at all times and clean hands frequently.
Due to current COVID increase in Mississippi in order to hold a safe event the following REQUIREMENTS are in place.
1. MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR EVERYONE!
2. EACH TEAM WILL ONLY BE ALLOWED TO HAVE ONE ADULT IN ATTENDANCE PER TEAM. (Teams with an adult that is willing to serve as a volunteer - should contact me ASAP as we are still in need of volunteers. Anyone with experience would greatly be appreciated but that is not a requirement!)
3. Pizza lunches will be an option and orders will be taken when teams check in.

Judging Format
In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
