General Info

This is an Elementary VEX IQ Slap Shot scrimmage event.  It will be held in the Abraham Elementary School.

 

This event is meant to help teams in their first season to guage how a typical tournament will run.

This scrimmage is not a State Qualifying Event.

 

At this time, Perry Township Schools, are permitting spectators in the audience.  Spectators in attendance may use their own discretion upon wearing a mask.  Please check back with this page in the event this policy changes due to a rise in CoVid cases.

Any team not paid by November 26, of the event will be transferred to the waitlist.

Concessions will be available all day for snacks.  We will be doing group pizza orders with more details to come as the event gets closer.

Please make sure all participants and coaches have filled out the online participant's release form because the REC now requires all Event Partners to check to make sure all teams have submitted the required online form.

If your team needs any special accommodations, please contact Melinda Williams or Natasha Cummings, in advance, so that arrangements can be made to meet the needs of your team.

Early Bird Registration will be used this year.
Note: The first two events selected will count toward Early Bird and cannot be changed once used.

All teams need to be present and checked in prior to the start of the competition.  It is the coach's responsibility to reach out if the team is delayed.

In the event that this tournament cannot take place due to inclement weather, the event will be cancelled and refunds issued.

Refund and Payment Policies

All teams need to be present and checked in prior to the start of the competition. Refunds will not be issued to teams who arrive after competition rounds have begun. 

Refunds will only be issued in extenuating circumstances.  Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 2 months following the event and will be less the $5.00 processing fee.

Coming from the North:  Take 465 to US 31.  Head South to Thompson, and turn right.  Head West to Brehob Road (between Meridian and Bluff), and turn left.  Park in front of the school, and enter through door 1.

Coming from the South: Head North on Merdian St.  Turn left on Epler.  Turn right into Abraham Lincoln Elementary's back parking lot.  Enter door 5.

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - Team Interviews will be available to give your team practice before their qualifying events.   If you choose to opt out of a team interview, please let Melinda Williams or Natasha Cummings know before the event begins.
