General Info

We are excited to invite teams to our first ever VEX IQ tournament at Royal Live Oaks Academy!

Concessions will be available during the competition. There are also several food options nearby.

Spectators are welcome.

The tournament will be held in the cafeteria, which is the first room you enter after the lobby. Parking is available in the front lot. Teams may use the car loop to offload, if needed.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

The event team will make decisions about weather or infectious illnesses as the issues arise. Teams will be notified immediately about any changes to the event dates or locations. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

  • Teams will receive a full refund

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: 

  • If notifed a week before the the event day (November 27, 2022) a refund will be granted. After November 27th, no refund will be issued. 

Judging Format

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. Please submit all digital notebooks no later than November 30th for judging.
