General Info

Join us for the Mercer County Blended Open Qualifier. This event is hosted by the Mercer County Blended League. Teams will compete in a fun, challenging and competitive contest open to elementary and middle school students. Multiple skills fields will be available and teams will be judged. This event provides teams with an opportunity to qualify for the WV State Championship based on RECF advancement criteria.

Skills Challenge Fields will be open during qualification matches, breaking for lunch and closing for the day at 2:30 p.m.

Judging Format

Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply.

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions will be accepted if they are submitted prior to the registration deadline.
