General Info
Welcome to the CanSTEAM February VIQC ES & MS In Person Walk Through Skills-Only Competition - No Judging!
The goal of this event is to allow teams to participate in a live skills competition, in a safe and carefully managed environment!
For this competition, teams will be assigned time slots to come participate in their skills attempts. These time slots will be assigned no later than February 3, 2022, and will be sent to the primary contact of each team.
When you arrive at the venue, you’ll be led indoors to the inspection table. Once completed, students will make their way to the field where they will be provided time allowance for 3 Driver Skills run, and 3 Programming skills runs, OR 20 minutes, whichever expires first.
Please note that only 3 students and one accompanying adult (vaccination proof required as per Ontario's Ministry of Health guidelines. https://news.ontario.ca/en/release/1000779/ontario-to-require-proof-of-vaccination-in-select-settings) may enter the building. The adult will have a designated area to stand and view all aspects of the event, but must also exit the facility when their students leave.
MASKS ARE MANDATORY AT THIS EVENT.
