Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If the event needs to be cancelled, relocated or postponed due to adverse weather conditions or Covid restrictions all teams will be contacted using the email addresses you provide.

This is a free event. As such no refund will be offered for any travel costs you incur should the event be cancelled, postponed or relocated (for whatever reason). Please do consider this carefully before booking travel and accommodation arrangements.

Health and Safety Policies

Parking will be available at the event, please follow signage and only park in the designated areas.

The event will be held in the Sports Hall which will be signposted from the carpark.

The evenT will have socially distanced working tables for teams.  Toilets will be for Vex IQ participants use only

Travel Info

Parking for the competition with be marked with clear VEX IQ signage.

Please only park in the designated parking area.

There will be clear directions from parking to the Sky Hall (the large brick and glass building to the right of the main entrance drive.

Judging Format

Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply.

• No Judging

• All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.

•  All Remote Judging - The Initial Team Interviews will be conducted remotely, and Engineering Notebooks will be submitted to judges digitally via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact.  Initial Interviews and Notebook submission deadlines may be scheduled ahead of the event date.

• Remote Initial Team Interviews / In-Person Engineering Notebooks: Initial Team Interviews will be conducted remotely, possibly before the date of the event. Engineering Notebooks will still be submitted in person the day of the event to be evaluated by judges.

•  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
