General Info

Team Voyage is proud to host this years VIQC Slapshotz.  This competition is open to all registered VIQC teams. The competition will be held December 3, 2022 at Bayou View Middle School in the gym.

Your payments must be shown in the system as paid by November 26, 2022 in order to participate in the competition.  Please get on the waiting list if the competition has filled, or you have more than 3 teams and if any spots become available I will contact you.

Snacks will be available and we plan on having a concession stand with hamburgers and hotdogs for lunch. More specifics will be available closer to the event.

Please complete all team member release forms at REC Foundation as soon as possible. Once completed, you are good for the rest of the year. Information on Participant Release form and link -- https://events.vex.com/consent/ 

JUDGING:  Notebooks must be submitted digitally by noon on November 28th.  Interview will be conducted virtually, teams will recieve a scheduled time.  All teams will be interviewed.

Judging Format

Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply.

  •  All Remote Judging - The Initial Team Interviews will be conducted remotely, and Engineering Notebooks will be submitted to judges digitally via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact.  Initial Interviews and Notebook submission deadlines may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
