General Info
We will look forward to you attending the 3rd VIQC Regional in the North East. We hope to make this bigger and better than previous ones, open to all Elementery (Primary years 4-6), you will need to check birthday rules too for age limits.
We have decided to run this on a Saturday due to positive comments from team mentors last year and the increased issues of teachers being allowed out of school. Thank you to Woodlea Primary School for providing the venue for free and hosting again.
As it's a Saturday, there are plenty of car parking spaces. Should any teams want to bring their kit the night before, this can be arranged.
Please bring refreshments and packed lunch for the day. I will ensure we have a kettle and ample supply of tea and coffee for adults.

Volunteer
We will have STEM Ambassadors that will be helping to judge teams and young helpers to provide field reset. However more helpers would be amazing, please contact me if you're interested.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Woodlea Primary School is around 5mins off the A1, Chester le Street exit, and is usually free from issues of weather. However, if any adverse weather is forcasted we will decide upon the event for everyones safety.

Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
