SEHS Rookie VIQRC Tournament

This tournament is designed for NEW VEX IQ Teams. The teams can be part of a school that has competed in the VIQRC Competition in previous years, however all team members must be first time competitors. The event is aimed at providing an easy and competitor friendly environment where students can try out the two competition formats, Skills Challenge and Teamwork Challenge, and learn as they go. The event is going to be supported by Salisbury East students that have competed in the past, that can offer help and advice.

This is an excellent opportunity for any schools wanting to try VEX Competitions for the first time.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Teams will be notified if weather will impact the event, however being indoors and with ample undercover areas the event should proceed in most circumstances. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: Teams will be fully refunded. 

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: Teams must notify of cancellation 48 hours prior to the event for full refund. 

 

Judging Format

As this is a rookie event and is so early in the season there will be No Judging.

We will have sample notebooks from previous years available to look at so teams can understand what is required.
