General Info
Korea International School Jeju is proud to host IQ on the Island. This event will serve as a warmup to National Championships. All participating teams will have an opportunity to test their robots in a tournament environment, collaborate with other teams, interview with a panel of judges and have their engineering notebook scored.
Engineering notebooks will be submitted for judging at the team check in table located at the entrance of the gym. Digital engineering notebooks should be printed and submitted for judging on the morning of the tournament. Printing will not be available at the tournament. Teams that do not submit a notebook will not be eligible for awards that require this documentation.
This tournament is open to all teams. There is a an optional 10,000 won per student/coach registration fee for students and coaches that wish to eat lunch in the caeteria. This fee will cover lunch as well as snacks and drinks for volunteers and coaches. Teams not taking advantage of the on-campus lunch option are encouraged to make their own arrangements for student and coach meals. Concessions will not be available at the venue, therefore we encourage teams to prepare these items prior to arriving at the tournament. Only water is allowed in the high school gym.
Charging stations near the pit area will be available so students can charge batteries and controllers during the tournament. Make sure all equipment is labled with team numbers in case of loss.
