General Info

Welcome!  Get ready to showcase your robotics skills, innovation, and teamwork as you compete alongside other talented teams. This event is being held to cater to teams who have not yet been able to compete at an event in NSW this season. As this is an Invitiational, you will be able to register on the waitlist, from there teams will be chosen based on their event status. Please make sure your Primary Contact details are correct as this is where all communication will be sent. 
 

  1. Event Location:This event will be held at Granville Boys High School

  2. Arrival and Departure Times: We kindly request all teams to plan for arrival before 8:30 AM on the event day. The competition is expected to run until approximately 4PM. Please note that these times may be subject to change closer to the event, depending on the number of teams registered. We will keep all participants informed of any schedule adjustments.

  3. Make sure to bring  your lunch

  4. Be aware of the G1 - Code of Conduct and G2 - Student Centred Rules

  5. Engineering Notebooks need to be provided as a hard copy and clearly labled with your team number.

We have carefully planned the agenda to ensure a smooth and exciting competition. Please make sure to arrive on time and be prepared for your scheduled matches and activities throughout the day. Volunteer

Volunteer Roles:

  1. Refereeing: Volunteers will assist in refereeing matches, ensuring fair play, and maintaining game rules adherence.
  2. Queuing: Volunteers will help manage team queuing and coordinating match schedules.
  3.  Inspection: Volunteers conduct technical inspections, ensuring that robots meet the required specifications and safety standards.
  4. Judging: Volunteers will evaluating team performance, innovation, and design during the competition while conducting short team interviews while following a clear Rubrix and sample questions.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

This event will be canceled if environmental conditions compromise the venue or travel to the venue.

Refund and Payment Policies

If a team wishes to withdraw from the tournament, they need to do so 1 week prior to the event.

Teams that do not withdraw within the given time frame will be billed for the event.

Schools with outstanding invoices will be waitlisted for all events until payment is received.

 

Judging Format

 

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
