Experience Level
No previous experience is needed for most volunteer positions, and you can even bring your kids for a family activity; for example, Field Resetter is an ideal position for young children.
Time Commitment
You can register for an entire day, or just a portion of the day as your schedule permits for most positions.
Open Volunteer Positions
Judges: No previous experience required. All day commitment.
Scorekeeper Referees: Previous experience preferred, but not required.
Field Resetters: No previous experience required.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In case emergency conditions arise a the host may decide to cancel the VEXIQ competition. In the event the robotics meet needs to be cancelled due to weather or other emergencies team coaches/mentors will be notified phone, text, and/or email by 6 am. Any registration fees beyond the $5 Roboevents fee will be funded.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: The registration fee will be refunded to appropriate team.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: No refund will be given if teams choose to withdraw from the event or choose not to attend.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
