QSITE in partnership with Cairns School of Distance Education presents the VIQC Rapid Relay Tournament.
This event will be hosted by Cairns School of Distance Education in Cairns, Queensland.
Due to the rural nature of this event and the size of our community, certain event officials will be associated with teams. Please be respectful of all volunteers who are doing their best to provide this opportunity for our students with the volunteer base available in our community.

8:00am - Doors open for registration, Pits.
8:45am Robot Inspection Coaches’ Meeting (Adult) /Team Briefing (including Driver’s meeting)
9:15- Robot Skills Challenge opens (Till 12pm)
10am – Start Qualification Matches
10:50am – Morning Tea
11:15am – Resume Qualification Matches
12:15pm – Lunch
12:40pm – Conclude Qualification Matches
1:10pm - Playoff Matches
1:30pm – Closing ceremony

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of extreme weather conditions the event will be cancelled. Organisers will do their best to give advance notice where possible.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: No refunds available as the event is free to register.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: No refunds available as the event is free to register.

- All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
