Archdiocese of Hartford  is delighted to host the AOH VEXIQ Robotics Competition at East Catholic High School.

The competition will include Elementary and Middle school. There will also be a Skils Competition for both Elementary and Middle School.

Remember to bring your Engineering Notebooks! 

There will be an option to purchase lunch at the school.

Registration will be at 7:30am. . (Doors open at 7:15am)  Teams running late must contact the event partner Laura McCaffrey 

Participation Legal Release form for all participants must be uploaded to robotevents.com prior to arrival. Get it here: Form with instructions how-to-upload.

Tentative Schedule

  • 7:15 am-  Doors Open and Registration Begins

  • 7:30 - 9:00- Inspection

  • 9:00 - 9:15- Drivers meeting (location TBD), Announcements and introductions (independent from Elementary  School)

  • 9:15 -2:00- Qualification Matches

  • 2:00 - 3:00- Finals Matches

  • 3:00- Awards

In case of inclement weather - the event partner will notify teams/coaches

 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: Refunds will be available but the refund does not include the $5.00 that REC Foundation charges. Total refund will be $45.00. 

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: NO REFUND is given

 

Judging Format

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit the judges.
  • In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted the day of the event.
