MEALS

Registration includes lunch and a snack bag on January 18. Free water dispensers are available throughout the school, and additional snacks can be purchased at designated areas.

Agenda

7:30 AM - 8:30 AM:

  • Team Check-In, Robot Inspection, and Pit Setup
  • Note: Start early to ensure that inspections are completed promptly. If possible, encourage teams to arrive early.

8:30 AM - 8:45 AM:

  • Opening Ceremonies and Event Meetings
  • Review the day’s agenda, safety reminders, and rules clarifications.
  • Introduction of volunteers and judges.

8:45 AM - 11:00 AM:

  • Qualification Matches & Robot Skills Challenge Rounds
  • Run both Teamwork Challenge matches and Skills Challenges simultaneously to maximize time.

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM:

  • Lunch Break 
  • Encourage teams to eat quickly and return for the afternoon sessions.

12:00 PM - 2:30 PM:

  • Continue Qualification Matches & Judging
  • Complete the remaining Qualification Matches.
  • Finals Matches
  • Based on rankings from the qualification matches, the top teams participate in the Finals Matches.

2:30 PM - 3:00 PM:

  • Awards Ceremony & Closing Remarks
  • Announce award winners for Teamwork Challenge, Design, Excellence, and Skills.
  • Take group photos and give closing remarks.

Refund and Payment Policies

Payment must be made in RMB to Concordia International School before November 30th

Cost is $100 per team for up to 5 student team members

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Full refund

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event and then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Full refund up through December 16. No refund will be given after January 1

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in person on the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges at the start of the event. Robotics notebooks may not be accepted after team check-in and robot inspection closes on January 17.

All robotics notebooks should be printed in advance if needed; please do not request help printing your notebook at the event!
