General Info
Robocats STEN Academy is thrilled to present this VEX IQ tournament for Middle School students. We anticipate a day brimming with robotics competition and enthusiasm. We can't wait to witness the brilliance of all teams!
Participants should submit their notebooks in physical format at the competition for the Judge awards such as Excellence, Design or Innovate Awards evaluation. Those with digital notebooks should print them for submission.
Every participant is required to fill out the participant release form. This form, also accessible in Spanish, needs to be completed just once for the entire season, encompassing all events.

Volunteer
We are always in need of volunteers. If you would like to volunteer, please send me an email with your Full name and how what role you would like to assist in. We are always in need of judges.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If there is an extreme weather event, we will try hard to reschedule. In the case that rescheduling is not an option a refund will be sent to the teams whose payments were received. Please note that a $5 fee from the REC Foundation is non-refundable.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: A refund will be sent only whose teams full payment was received from, there is a $5 fee from the REC that is nonrefundable.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: They will not receive a refund from Bob Graham Education Center or the REC Foundation.
Payment Deadline is November 10th.
Kindly let us know ahead of time if your team is not ready to compete so we can open your spot to another team.
Judging Format
- All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
