Chesapeake Public Schools STEM Circuit (Invitational)
Open to Chesapeake schools only
We are excited to invite Chesapeake schools to participate in the STEM Circuit Invitational. There is no admission fee for this league.
Practice Fields:
- 1–2 practice fields will be available from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
- After 6:00 PM, 1 practice field will remain available.
- Teams are encouraged to bring their own practice fields if possible.
Important Notes:
- This event is tentative and may be canceled due to inclement weather or district/school closures.
- Concessions will be available at designated venues.
- No outside food or drink is permitted, in accordance with district policy (water is allowed).
- A full concession menu will be available throughout the event.

Skills runs will be available throughout qualification matches and will close at the conclusion of final qualifying match.

Teams are encouraged to sign up for Skills early to avoid missing the deadline.

The Chesapeake Public Schools STEM Circuit is a volunteer-driven event, relying on the dedication of coaches, event partners, tournament staff, and volunteers from each participating organization. The success of this league depends on the generosity and active participation of volunteers committed to supporting the next generation of STEM leaders.
Each organization is required to provide volunteers to help run the league smoothly. Whether you’re a parent, educator, community member, or simply passionate about robotics and education, your time and talents are invaluable. No prior experience is necessary, just a willingness to help and be part of something amazing.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
The league follows the Chesapeake Public Schools emergency and inclement weather policies. In the event of severe weather or any district-mandated closures, the tournament may be postponed or canceled for the safety of all participants.
If the event must be canceled due to weather or other emergencies, all registered teams will be notified by email as soon as a decision is made. Updates will also be posted on the RobotEvents listing and other communication platforms associated with the event.
In the event of a cancellation, refunds will be issued to all teams minus the $5 RECF processing fee, which is non-refundable.
Please monitor local weather forecasts and stay alert to updates from the tournament organizer as the event date approaches.
Refund and Payment Policies
No refunds will be issued unless the tournament is canceled due to inclement weather or by the Event Partner for any reason.
If a team registers and submits payment but later chooses to withdraw and not attend, no refund will be issued, regardless of the reason.
Please plan accordingly, and contact us with any questions or concerns regarding payment.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
