Welcome to Our Winter Robotics Competition at Col. Wheeler Middle School!
We are thrilled to be hosting our winter robotics competition, and even more excited to have you join us for this milestone event!
Each year, we are amazed by the creativity, innovation, and teamwork our students bring to the field, and this year promises to be no different.
We can't wait to see your incredible designs and the outstanding sportsmanship that makes this community so special.
Concessions & Food
Concessions will be available during the event.
Required Forms
All participants and coaches must complete the online Participant Release Form.
The REC Foundation requires Event Partners to verify that all teams have submitted this form prior to the event.

Interested in Volunteering?
If you would like to volunteer for the upcoming robotics competition, please contact Michael Early at [email protected].
Lunch will be provided for all volunteers.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If in the unfortunate circumstance that weather does not permit a competition to be held, an email will go out to the primary contact email for each team, and will follow the possible schedule below:
1. If a weather event is expected to be short lived prior to the event occuring, a delay may take place.
2. If weather is incoming while the event is taking place, an adapted schedule will be provided to end the event in a safe manner.
3. If weather does not permit the event happening, a refund will be given minus the $5 REC fee 30 days after the event was meant to be held.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Your registration fee will be refunded minus the fees robotevents.com charges.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
A refund will be given if a team withdraws before two weeks of the event date. Otherwise, no refunds will be given.
Payment Deadline is January 10th, 2026. Not paying by this date may mean that your team may be placed on the waitlist to make room for another team.
Judging Format
In-Person Interviews- The Team Interviews will be in-person the day of the event.
Remote Engineering Notebook:
All engineering notebooks must be submitted digitally and will be judged remotely.
