General Info

Teams may add themselves to the Waitlist in case of last minute drops.

Jackson Area Robotics and Union University welcome you to the Mix & Match season.

Volunteers who sign up at least two weeks in advance will recieve free lunches. Check out the Sign Up at this link. We can only host these events with the support of the community.

Meals through the Union University cafeteria are $10 prepaid and $15.64 on the day of the event. No outside food or drink will be allowed in the Grant Center. This will be strictly enforced out of respect for Union's policy. Lawn areas are available for picnic lunches. Teams who wish to pre-order tickets for meals from the cafeteria must do so by noon on Friday, October 3.

Payment is due two weeks after a team is registered (or immediately if after September 19, 2025) unless other arrangements are made with the EP. All teams not paid after two weeks of registration will be moved to the waitlist and may be added back in IF there is still room on the roster. If your registration payment process takes longer than two week, clear communication will keep teams from being moved to the Waitlist.

Teams willing to loan fields and elements that can set up on Friday afternoon or evening will have their team registration waived. Limit of four. Contact EP for more information.

Due to the difficulty of recruiting judging volunteers, there will be no judging at this event.

Please share this Sign Up link with your parents and other VEX community. We love hosting your students, but cannot do it without community support.

Lunch will be provided for all pre-registered volunteers who pre-register by noon on Friday, October 3, at noon.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event that an emergency arises or inclement weather threatens to affect the tournament, email notifications will be sent.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

Refunds will be issued if event is cancelled by EP. Refunds will NOT include the $5 processing fee collected by Robot Events.

If a Team completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

As a general rule, refunds will NOT be issued. However, we understand that unforseen circumstances come up. Please contact us as partial refund may be possible if your spot can be filled by another team.

All registrations must be paid in full two weeks after team is registered, or immediately if after September 19, 2025, unless other arrangements have been made with EP. Teams that have not paid registration fee for past events will be immediately moved to the waitlist until those registration fees are paid and may be added back in IF there is room on the roster.
