General Info

The Stamping Ground Robotics VEX IQ Tournament is open to Elementary VEX IQ teams. The event is a State Qualifying event. An organized pizza order will be available, as well as concessions. No outside food will be permitted

$2 admission for adults

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

The event will be rescheduled if canceled due to bad weather. Teams will be notified of cancellation through the e-mail address provided in RobotEvents during registration.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

  • Teams will receive a full refund minus the $5 REC Foundation processing fee

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

  • Teams will receive a full refund minus the $5 REC Foundation processing fee unless it is past the Closed Registration date. 

 

Judging Format

 

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
