General Info

Come prepared to engage in competitive robotics at Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts (CSLA).

Skills Challenges will be offered in a 3 hour block of time, with teams called to the fields in team number order to insure every team has 3 driving and 3 autonomous programming challenge opportunities. 

Team checkin can only be completed by the primary or secondary coach noted on robotevents.com. Physical Engineering Notebooks should be turned in at checkin. Inspection must be completed and requires a coaches signature, before participating in Skills Challenges or Teamwork qualifying matches. Live judging interviews will occur throughout the day in the Team Pit Areas.

Experience Level

No previous experience is needed for most volunteer positions, and you can even bring your kids for a family activity; for example, Field Resetter is an ideal position for young children.

Time Commitment

You can register for an entire day, or just a portion of the day as your schedule permits for most positions.

Meals

Lunch is included for all full-day volunteers.

Open Volunteer Positions

Judges: No previous experience required. All day commitment.

Scorekeeper Referees:  Previous experience preferred, but not required.

Field Resetters: No previous experience required.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event that an emergency or bad weather causes the event to be delayed, postponed, or cancelled, the designated primary coach for each registered team will be notified via email and phone as early as possible.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: a full refund of the registration fee will be provided.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: no refund will be provided 

Payment Policies: every team registered for this event should complete payment within 2 weeks of registering, an no later than November 30, 2025. The only exception to this policy is if communicaton has occurred between with the event partner, [email protected]

 

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
