Thank you for your interest in registering for Beck's VEX IQ competition. We are currently accepting MS VEX IQ teams that HAVE NOT qualified for the State Competition. In the event that your registered team(s) qualify for State before the Beck competition, we will notify you, waitlist your team(s), and refund your registeration minus the $5 administration fee.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of bad weather, we will try to reschedule. If it doesn't work for your team, a refund minus $10 will returned.

If event is cancelled, a full refund minus $5 will be returned.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Full refund minus the $5 admin fee.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Full refund minus $5, 14 days before the event. Less than 14 days, 1/2 of registration + $5 will be returned.

Judging Format

Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply. Please see the Remote Judging section of the Guide to Judging for more information.

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
