General Info

Welcome to the 4th annual VEX in the 'Ville Tournament, hosted by Sycamore Elementary School! We are excited to host teams from around the West Tennessee area for a fun filled day of competition for the Mix and Match VEX IQ 2025-2026 season. Please check the information below carefully to ensure all teams are prepared for the day. 

Parking will be open in the large side parking lott off Itawamba Rd. The entrance to the gym can be found along the back side of the building by the playground. Directional signs will be posted. 

Check in will begin at 8am. Please note that teams will be scheduled for initial interviews. The interview schedule will be shared with coaches 1 week prior to the event and some interviews may take place during the check-in and inspection windows. 

Lunch will take place around 11:30am. however, to remain on schedule, the lunch time may vary slightly. Please be aware thatonly teams will be allowed in the pit areas including during lunch. There will be tables  available in the hallways during lunch time only.

A small area will be reserved for teams to watch matches. All family spectators are asked to remain in the bleachers and adhere by the RECF student centered policy.

Every attempt will be made to reschedule an event that is affected by weather. In the event of bad weather, updates will be made by email. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Refunds will not be provided. 

Judging Format

 

  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
