Judging Format

There are two sides to a VEX Robotics event: the part where robots score points, and the judging. Judging itself has two parts: team notebooks and team interviews. A variety of awards are available, and their requirements are outlined in the official judges' guide, which is linked in the "Documents" tab.

Neither interviews nor notebooks are required.  Your team can simply focus on the "robot scores the points" portion if you prefer.

For this event, the notebooks and the initial round of judging will take place before the competition day.

If you want your notebook judged:

Notebooks must be submitted electronically. Please review the judges' guide for full details.

All notebook links must be uploaded by December 3rd at 11:59 PM. We’ll do our best to contact teams if a link doesn’t work, but please note that judging may occur at any time during the 10-day review window.

If you would like an interview:

Initial team interviews will also be scheduled before the tournament.  Please sign up by 11/21 so I can schedule volunteers.  After that, interviews can be scheduled if space is available.
