General Info
Sawnee Elementary School is excited to host this Mix and Match VEX IQ tournament in Cumming, GA. Students and attendees are sure to have a fun-filled day of robotics competition, and we look forward to seeing all of the teams shine! Make sure you don't forget batteries, chargers, and license plates! We will not have concessions however there are plenty of resturants near by.

8:00am - 9:30am - Check-In/Registration/Inspection
(NOTE: All teams must be through inspection by 9:30am)
8:00am -10:00am - Fields Open for Skills Challenges
(NOTE: Each team will be able to run a maximum of 3 robot (driver) skills challenges and 3 programming challenges. 3 fields will be available for Skills Challenge attempts from 8-9am, but only 1 field will be open for skills challenges for the rest of the day. Teams should attempt to finish most of their skills challenges before 9am as the tournament schedule will run quickly and there will not be much time in between matches to fit more in. The Skills Field will close at 2:00pm.
10:00am - 10:15am - Drivers Meeting & Welcome
10:15am - 12:00pm - Qualification Rounds
12:00pm - 12:30pm - Lunch
NOTE: We will send a pizza order form to all teams for Papa John's if they would like. There is also a Zaxby's, Subway, and McDonald's close by
12:30pm - 2:45pm - Qualification Rounds
2:45pm-3:15pm - Finals
3:15pm- 3:30pm - Awards
(NOTE: This is a tentative schedule and may change due to Murphy's Law. Students being at the queue and ready to go when their match is ready will speed things along. )

In the event of extreme weather or other emergencies that cause travel or safety issues for most teams, the event may be postponed or cancelled, as necessary. All teams will be notified and kept up to date with changes as soon as they are made.

Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
