Welcome to the 2026 Southern New York Mix & Match State Championship hosted by Adelphi STEP Program and PS/MS 124Q: TechTitan Robotics!

Congratulations to all the teams that have qualified for this prestigious event! We look forward to hosting an amazing event to end the Southern New York State season! 

This competiton will be held in the Ruth S. Harley University Center 1st floor event space. 

Please be advised that the University Cafteria will be open for lunch.  They are a cashless venue.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Due to the size of this event, it will not be canceled in case of bad weather. Teams must use their own discretion on attending the event. 

In the event of catastrophic conditions and the tournament is unable to go on as scheduled, the financial obligations of the EP will first be honored and alternative options will be explored under consultation of the RECF.  

Refund and Payment Policies

Payment Policy

Registration fees should be paid by March 9th. Teams who have registered, but not yet paid, should advise the Event Partner. On March 11th, teams who have already registered and not paid will be moved to the waitlist. Registration fees should be fully paid or processing no later than the Friday before the event.

 

If the Event Partner cancels the event:  We will issue all teams a refund after we receive payment from robot events minus the $5.00 processing fee. 

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: Refunds given up to two weeks prior to event. If you require a refund please contact the Event Partner by February, 28 2026. We will issue all teams a refund after we receive payment from robot events minus the $5.00 processing fee. 

Judging Format

Physical Engineering Notebook Submissions: Engineering Notebooks will be collected in person at the event. Please have a physical copy of your teams notebook with you at the event.

 In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event.
