Welcome to the 2025 - 2026 VEX IQ - Mix Match hosted by Hanks Robotics!
We are excited to have your team(s) join us at the Kingdom, and we are working hard to ensure we provide the best experience to everyone!
Please ensure to review the following to ensure the event flows smoothly:
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In-Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Digital Engineering Notebooks are due Wednesday, January 7th, 2026 by 5 PM.
- Doors open at 7:30 AM and tentatively plan to finish by 2:30 pm (Depending on total amount of teams, end time may change).
- Please feel free to bring your practice fields. All fields are to be set up in the designated spot to ensure all teams have an opportunity to practice.
- Make sure payments are submitted to REC Foundation by Friday, December 19, 2025., or make arrangements with the Event Partner to pay Hanks Robotics the day of the tournament with a check, card, or cash. If not, teams will be removed from tournament.
More detailed information will be emailed 1 - 2 weeks prior to the tournament, please ensure to check your emails!

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In case of bad weather, we will follow the procedure provided by the facilities policies of Ysleta ISD. If needed we will postpone and re-evaluate a day to conduct our tournament.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event, we will find another date to hold the tournament.
If a Coach or mentor completes registration for the event and then chooses to withdraw or not attend, the coach or mentor is responsible for finding another team or paying the tournament registration fees. No refunds will be given.
