American International School Hong Kong (AIS) is excited to host a VEX IQ Mix & Match Robotics Tournament on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. This competition is open to both Elementary School (ES) and Middle School (MS) divisions, welcoming teams from across Hong Kong.

This Mix & Match tournament is designed to be a fun, collaborative, and student-centered showcase of engineering and teamwork. Alliances will be formed across schools and divisions, giving students the chance to demonstrate creative and innovative robot designs, strategic thinking, and real-time problem-solving.

With the Hong Kong Regional Championships taking place in February, this event is an ideal opportunity for teams to practice, experiment, and qualify while building friendships and sharing ideas with fellow young engineers.

Release Form Requirement

For the safety of all participants, every student, coach, and volunteer must complete a release form before taking part in the event.

Important: Participants under 18 must have the physical form signed by a parent or guardian before arriving if they choose to bring a paper copy.

This VEX IQ Mix & Match event offers young engineers a stage to shine. Students will:

  • Present their innovative robot designs to a supportive audience.

  • Collaborate with teammates and new alliances to tackle Mix & Match.

  • Gain valuable experience toward qualifying for the Hong Kong Regional Championships in February 2026.

AIS is thrilled to welcome students, coaches, and volunteers for a day of creativity, collaboration, and inspiration. We look forward to seeing the next generation of engineers and problem-solvers in action.
