General Info
Welcome to the Third Annual Haile Storm VEX IQ Tournament! This year's challenge is Mix & Match. The event will be hosted at Carlos E. Haile Middle School in Manatee County, Florida. We are very excited to be hosting this tournament, and look forward to seeing the amazing and innovative builds that are brought to the tournament!
Families are welcome to attend, but only competitors and coaches are allowed in the pit area.
Concessions will be available throughout the tournament.
Engineering Notebooks will be submitted digitally, so if you have a paper notebook you will need to scan it and upload it.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the case the tournament cannot be held on the planned date due to bad weather or other emergency, a reschedule will be comunicated. If the event is not able to be rescheduled, a refund (minus the $5 fee collected by the REC) will be provided to all paid, registered teams.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
- Full refund will be provided minus the $5 administration fee that RobotEvents charges.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
- 100% refund (minus $5) for cancellations more than 30 days before the event.
- 50% refund for cancellations 15 to 30 days before the event.
- No refund for cancellations in the last two weeks before the event.
Payment Deadline is January 17th, 2025.

Judging Format
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Submission deadline is 1/21/2026 (ten days before the event).
