"We can’t wait to hear you ROAR in the Lion’s DEN, a VEX IQ Robotics tournament where teams put their builds to the test, collaborate with others, and fuel their creativity in a fun and encouraging atmosphere!" If you would like to be a judge or a referee, please let me know and you will be provided with the proper training materials. Either way, we are excited to see your team’s hard work in action!!

- Skills, First Judged Interviews, and Inspection will be available Saturday morning.
- RECF Participant Waiver: All students and adults must complete the RECF release form prior to the event. Instructions and the form are available here:
- Practice fields will not provided - However, space will be available if you'd like to bring your own practice field

Volunteer
Volunteers are essential to a successful tournament. Please consider volunteering. No prior experience is necessary. Volunteers will receive any training necessary. lunch, and a full day of inspiration working with incredibly talented youth. If you have an area of expertise, such as judging or refereeing, email [email protected] to volunteer.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If the event must be cancelled due to bad weather or another emergency, every attempt will be made to reschedule the event.
If bad weather requires the event to be delayed, but held on the same day, each coach will be notified via email and phone.
Refund and Payment Policies
Payment Policy:
- Payment is due within three weeks of registration or immediately if registering after January 5, 2026, unless prior arrangements are made with the Event Partner.
- Teams not paid within three weeks will be moved to the waitlist and may be re-added only if space is available.
- If your payment process takes longer than three weeks, please communicate clearly with the EP to avoid being waitlisted.
If the Event Partner cancels the event: a refund will be given, minus the $5 processing fee
If your team is unable to attend no refund will be given.

Judging Format
- All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event.
- Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
