General Info

This is an INVITATIONAL event for ACPS elementary school teams. Please add your team to the waitlist and you will be added to the event if you are an ACPS team. 

PLEASE READ THROUGH ALL THE TABS.  COACHES WHO ASK ME QUESTIONS AT THE EVENT THAT WERE ANSWERED IN THE TABS WILL BE TREATED WITH KINDNESS.  :)

All spectators will need to register with the district. 

For lunch, you may need to bring a bag lunch from your school as a field trip, or just bring your own.  Students may not leave the event until it is completed.  We will update coaches with more info and check your email.

All attendees are expected to abide by the code of conduct.

All participants are expected to complete the participant release form . (also available in Spanish)  Once per season covers all events

9:00 AM - Open doors to teams / begin check-in/inspection (gym)
9:30 AM - Open Programming/Robot Skills (gym)
10:00 AM - Close the check-in/registration process with all teams in house (gym)
10:30 AM – Drivers Meeting (auditorium)

11:30 -3:00 PM- Qualification Rounds (gym) ( skills is closed once qualifications ends)
3:00 PM - Elimination Rounds (gym)
4:30 PM - Awards Ceremony (auditorium)

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

The event will take place indoors.  Come prepared for competition rain or shine.  

Refund and Payment Policies

No Payments Accepted.  Free for all district teams.

Judging Format

Notebooks need to be turned in electronically.  Please note the judge's guide. 

The notebooks should be uploaded in Robotevents.com by the registration deadline.  It is not in the ethos of the competition that students should be punished for a mistake their coach made, so we will reach out if there are any issues.

Initial interviews will be scheduled before the tournament.  Keep an eye on your emails!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
