General Info

Team 301 is hosting the Seaplane City Showdown VEX IQ Mix & Match tournament held at Tavares High School in Tavares, FL. This Saturday tournament is a Middle School tournament only. Specific award winners will qualify for the North/Central Florida Regional Championship.  This event will include a teamwork championship and skills challenge.

Event will take place rain or shine, unless we have a weather event where the district closes schools.

Refund and Payment Policies

The deadline for payment in January 5, 2026.  Teams who have not paid by this date may be placed on the waitlist.  If there are any issues with payment, please reach out to me at [email protected].

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Your registration fee will be refunded minus the fees robotevents.com charges. 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Your registration to this event commits the event partners to set costs. Therefore, no refunds can be given.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. The submission deadline is January 7th at 11:59 pm.
